He is proud of his role as publisher of the email arts newsletter, Cultural Bulletin [now available here on our site], and of striving to encourage poetry, which is one of the things he admires about the Butterfly Lightning reading series.
Besides being one of the original members of the No Shame Players, a now-defunct theater troupe, he also claims to be "a nifty dancer and an amateur large-animal taxidermist."
