Vicki Hendricks, fiction

Vicki Hendricks is the author of noir novels Miami Purity and, recently with Serpent's Tail, Iguana Love, both of which she characterizes as books of "sex, sex, sex, and a little murder." Her short story "ReBecca," will appear in Best American Erotica, due out in February and The Vox and Roll Anthology, to be published by Serpent's Tail in March. She lives in South Florida where she precariously juggles her day job, the teaching of college writing, with her hobbies and adventures, including SCUBA diving, sailing, and most recent obsession skydiving. "It's all research!" she says of her life. Having made well over 200 skydivings, she is currently finishing a novel of skydiving and murder. Her next venture will be a biography of adventure to include skydiving in Spain, swimming with the pink dolphins in the Amazon, climbing a volcano in Guatemala and sailing the Devil's Triangle.
